Why I Created Warm Pages | Bookstore Cafe Dedicated To Black Women
Hi, my name is Diamond, and I am the founder of Warm Pages. I created Warm Pages because I love to read and enjoy a good iced coffee. I’ve always known I wanted to open a bookstore, and when I turned 25, I decided to fully commit to my idea. As I started thinking about the audience, I also began to envision the design. I imagined a space filled with Black art, Black authors, and an atmosphere rich in Black culture. Then, I realized there aren't many spaces where Black women can come to enjoy coffee, find their favorite books, and be in community with other Black women who share the same passions.
Alongside Warm Pages, I created Warm Pages Collective, which is the organizational side that helps us further our mission. I want to host events like book club meetings, poetry nights, live music events, and more.
